Day one: get your bearings

Explore your base, have a meal nearby and try your likely routes. The updated restaurant guide links to current venue information. Pick one convenient stop and leave time to unwind after arrival.

Day two: focus the shortlist

Arrange a manageable set of viewings with Dominique. Compare access, layout and costs. Take notes before the next home so the properties do not blur together.

Day three: choose one outing

Use the tours guide to compare a rainforest adventure, a park visit or a cruise from Herradura. Choose what fits your interests and comfort. Keep its return time clear of any property appointment.

Before you leave

Revisit your favorite area without a tour schedule. Make a grocery stop and try the beach route. Send Dominique the homes and unanswered questions you want to investigate further; avoid rushing because your flight is approaching.

Leave a useful gap in the itinerary

Put the most important appointments on the calendar first and leave space for a second look. A property you like may raise a question about access, noise or layout that deserves another visit. Keep the flexible time for that purpose rather than booking every spare hour before you have seen the homes.

If you travel with someone whose pace differs from yours, agree on which outings are optional. An adventure catalogue is not a comfort assessment. Ask the operator about the actual walking, vehicle travel and facilities, then choose the plan everyone understands. A quieter day exploring the neighborhood can be just as valuable for deciding whether the area suits you.
