Think beyond a beach day

The Tourism Board describes Jacó as a coastal tourism center with surfing and nightlife. Use that as orientation, then test your chosen street at the times you would normally be home.

Try your errands

Test groceries, parking and the trip home. Ask about internet at the actual address if you expect to work there. Check the services important to your household; town-wide descriptions cannot settle address-specific questions.

Choose comfort over a label

Compare ventilation, sun exposure, steps, access and upkeep. Visit your favorite area and one alternative near Herradura or Playa Hermosa. The address may matter more than the most familiar beach name.

Use a trial stay

• Note what you enjoy on ordinary days.
• Record access and noise at different times.
• List the services you want nearby.
• Tell Dominique which compromises you want to avoid.

Compare two versions of an ordinary day

Try the route at the time you expect to leave home, then return when you would normally finish your errands. Notice the parts that are comfortable and the parts that need a workaround. Ask yourself whether you would still enjoy the location when you are not following a holiday itinerary.

If stairs, parking or easy access matter, put those needs in the first message to Dominique. Compare the actual layout rather than assuming an area or price bracket will provide the features you want. A useful trial stay ends with a clearer brief: the daily routine you liked, the services you need and the compromises you do not want to repeat.
